Originally brewed in 1996, Tripel Karmeliet is a Belgian styled Tripel. This brew has the fresh crispness of a wheat with a punch of dryness. It is based off a recipe from 1679 that uses wheat, oat, and barely from the Carmelites in Dendermonde. The recipe is still used almost 20 years later and is then bottled conditioned.
